Terms of Service
Last updated 20 July 2026
These terms cover the monotask bot on Twitch and Discord and the web app at monotask.flowco.gg, operated by FlowCo. Using monotask means accepting them.
The service
monotask lets viewers keep a task list, check in to coworking streams, and build streaks. Streamers can display those on an overlay. It is free, with no paid tier and no payment taken.
Your responsibilities
- Follow Twitch’s and Discord’s terms — monotask runs on top of them.
- Don’t use task text to harass, post slurs, advertise, or share other people’s personal information. Task text can appear on a live stream.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, evade moderation, or automate abuse.
- Don’t impersonate other users or misrepresent your relationship with a channel.
See the content policy for specifics on what is not allowed and what happens when it is.
For streamers
Adding monotask to your channel or server means you are responsible for how it is used there. You control moderation in your community — including removing check-ins and blocking users — and you can remove the bot at any time. The overlay carries a small, removable “monotask.bot” credit; you may remove or restyle it.
Availability
monotask is provided as is, with no uptime guarantee. It is a free service run by a small team and may be interrupted for maintenance, platform changes, or faults. It is not a system of record — don’t rely on it as the only copy of anything important.
Your content
Your tasks are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: storing them, and displaying them on surfaces you have opted into, such as a streamer’s overlay when you check in. We don’t claim ownership and don’t use your content to train anything.
Suspension
We may remove content or block accounts that break these terms or the content policy — within a single community, or across all of them for serious or repeated abuse. Streamers and their moderators can block users within their own community.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, FlowCo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using monotask, including lost data or interrupted streams. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
Stop using the bot whenever you like. Streamers can remove it with /unbindcommunity. Ask us to delete your data at any time — see the privacy policy.
Changes
We’ll update the date above and announce material changes in the communities using the bot. Continuing to use monotask after that means accepting the revised terms.
